Passport / Visa Requirements
Tourists do not need visas to enter South Korea if they intend to be there for fewer than 90 days. It is important not to overstay your visa as you will be fined before leaving the country. All travelers need a valid passport from their country of origin with at least one page for stamping and at least six months of validity remaining. For more information, contact a Korean embassy or consulate. American travelers can augment their research using the U.S State Department's website.
