Arches National Park at a Glance

Mother Nature’s artistic bent takes on a starkly beautiful tone in Arches National Park, where thousands of naturally occurring land formations give the landscape an otherworldly appearance. The park, located on the Colorado River in Moab, Utah, is best known for the natural stone arches form which it draws its name. However, other equally stunning formations can be found throughout the park’s 75,000-plus acres.

Pinnacles, fins and giant balanced rocks in varying hues of red and orange draw more than 700,000 visitors to Arches each year. Park visitors hike, camp, bike and even marry among the ancient formations.

Humans have been savoring the region’s fragile natural splendor for 10,000 years, and any visit to Arches National Park is sure to be an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.
