Ibiza at a Glance

Beautiful, pine covered Ibiza invented the rave and the island is famous for its all-night party scene. Whether you come here to party, to lay on the beach or to explore off-the-beaten path, you'll find beautiful weather and landscapes.

Ibiza and its neighboring islands have long been a place of settlement. Bronze Age humans once lived here and the ancient Greeks sailed their vessels to the pine fringed shores. Check out the ancient tombs and megaliths that these people left behind them.

Outdoor lovers will enjoy Ibiza's coastal walks and the deserted off-season beaches. Cliffs and waves can make for interesting photography and you'll find wheeling seabirds, snug villages and productive farm fields add to the charm.

If you stay in the main resort area you'll find a huge variety of beaches, warm water and plenty of restaurants. At night, the famous club scene starts late and goes later.
