Krabi Province at a Glance

Krabi Province is a beach resort and jungle area in Thailand known for the eco-tourism you can find mixed in with the traditional style resorts. Most visitors head to Krabi Province to enjoy the beaches. The warm waters of the Andaman Sea lap at toes and are the perfect playground for snorkeling, scuba diving, sea kayaking and other adventures.

Krabi Province has a unique landscape filled with tall limestone pillars rising out of the earth in unexpected places. These unique natural features shelter beautiful beaches and tower over inland temples. Rock climbers love the excitement of climbing some of the designated pillars. Others hike to the top of these majestic bluffs and enjoy sea and mountain views.

Krabi's beaches are gorgeous and help spread the province's fame as a tourist destination. However, visitors will be well rewarded spending some time exploring other areas. Virgin rainforests, limestone caves, hidden temples and plenty of fascinating plants and animals can be seen via hiking trail, guided tour or kayak trip.
