Latvia at a Glance

Latvia is bursting with travel possibility and is still undiscovered by many vacationers. Set out to discover the countryside, or immerse yourself in the bustling city-life of Riga. You'll be glad you came.

Riga is Latvia's capital and largest city. Imagine world class restaurants, a happening nightlife and a fun music scene all blossoming close by to a UNESCO preserved old town. This unique combination means that travelers can enjoy history and architecture by day and food, drink and dancing by night.

If the city life isn't what you crave while you are traveling, head out to Latvia's remote interior. Hike in densely forested woods, or snowshoe silently in the same spot after a big snowfall. Animal watch, bird watch, and soak in the natural world. Head to the Baltic Sea to find seaside fishing villages, modern resorts and isolated natural areas. Breath in the sea air deeply and explore.
