Lithuania at a Glance

Lithuania's striking landscape is filled with green rolling hills, tranquil ponds and dense forests. Near the coast and on what is known as the Curonian Spit, elk, deer and birds live alongside each other in fragile sand dunes. Pack your sweater and sturdy shoes and get ready for an adventure of a lifetime.

The Lithuanian countryside is studded with small farms, old churches and mouldering castles. Rounding each bend in the road can be an adventure. For great sightseeing, try taking on Lithuania by bicycle. Cycle the coast along long, flat sandy roads, or head inland for bucolic memories of biking through little villages.

Lithuanian's largest city, Vilnius, has the quaint feel of a village, but with all of the fun of a modern city. Spend the day wandering cobblestone streets of the old city and counting the many church spires that fill the skyline. In the evening stroll between art galleries, have dinner and then get ready to bar hop. With much to occupy you in both the city and the countryside, you'll be planning your next visit to Lithuania before you've even left.
