The region is rich with geology and natural wonders. Bring your walking shoes and your camera for a trip into one of Australia's most famous landscapes. Visitors travel the southern shore on the Great Ocean Road. Cliffs, curves and ocean views are all part of the experience. Once you are in the Port Campbell area, there are dozens of trails, scenic overlooks and smooth beaches to discover. While this isn't really a safe area for swimming, you'll find plenty of sights for your camera that will make up for it. If you want to travel inland, you'll find a rich green volcanic landscape. Hiking, crater lakes and fascinating volcanic cones await.
