Travel Inspiration: Whitehaven Beach, Australia

Am I Dreaming?

Whitehaven Beach [Whitsunday Islands, Australia]

Whitehaven Beach, Australia | More than four miles of impeccably white, powder-soft sands comprise part of the southeastern shoreline of Whitsunday Island. This is Whitehaven Beach. Unlike most shorelines, Whithaven’s near-pure silica sand won’t scorch your feet, but it could damage your phone and camera. It has earned recognition as Queensland’s cleanest beach and top eco-friendly beach over the past four years. Travelers can access the beach by boat from Airlie Beach or Shute Harbor, as well as by seaplane.
